About the role

We’re seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join our finance team in our Sydney head office. Reporting to the Head of Finance Services & Treasury, this role offers the opportunity to gain broad treasury experience and build a rewarding career within a privately owned Tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

- Managing cash flow forecasting, daily funding and bank administration
- Supporting ad hoc projects and financial analysis
- Driving process improvement and process documentation across key Treasury activities
- Assisting with the management of risk exposures
- Assisting with the preparation of routine and ad hoc treasury reporting
- Managing the ongoing issuance and administration of surety bonding and guarantees
- Monitoring and maintaining bank accounts and balances, resolving any outstanding banking issues
- Working with the Treasurer on the continual development of our Treasury function

About you

- Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, economics or a related numerical discipline; CA or CPA preferred but not essential
- 5+ years’ experience in treasury or corporate finance, with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving capability
- Demonstrated experience across treasury disciplines such as cash and liquidity management, financial risk management, transactional banking, treasury management systems and treasury operational controls
- Strong numerical and modelling skills with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with and influence non-finance stakeholders
- Able to manage and deliver multiple assignments of varying priority and difficulty, working effectively under tight deadlines and pressure
