Our client is looking for a professional FP&A; Business Analyst to join their finance team and play a key role in supporting business performance, planning and decision-making across our corporate business units.

This is a commercially focused role for someone who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations. You'll partner closely with the finance team and key stakeholders across the group to support budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, scenario modelling and strategic analysis.

A key component of the role will also be the ownership and continuous improvement of cost allocation models , ensuring central costs are accurately and transparently allocated across the business.

What You'll Do

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Analyse market trends, historical performance and financial data to support business unit targets, KPIs and strategic initiatives.
- Support the annual group budgeting process, including data extraction, analysis, validation and system submissions.
- Lead the coordination of Group Budget timelines and processes to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Support the development of quarterly forecasts, scenario analysis and financial plans.
- Maintain and refine financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Prepare budget and forecast presentations for Group leadership, clearly communicating financial plans, assumptions and key drivers.

Performance Reporting & Insights

- Prepare accurate, timely financial and performance reporting using data from enterprise systems.
- Analyse financial and operational performance,



identifying key trends, risks, opportunities and drivers.
- Support the finance team with presentations, dashboards and performance reporting.
- Work collaboratively across Finance and the broader business to develop meaningful commentary and provide actionable insights.
- Translate complex financial and non-financial information into clear, concise messages for stakeholders and leadership.

Costings

- Maintain and enhance cost models used to distribute central costs across business units.
- Perform detailed checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of models and methodologies.
- Partner with business unit leaders to explain allocation outcomes, methodology and key drivers.
- Identify opportunities to improve allocation processes, reporting and transparency.

Target Setting & Business Support

- Support the development and review of business unit targets, KPIs and performance initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of targets, initiatives and KPIs.
- Provide analysis and insights that help leaders understand performance and make informed commercial decisions.

About You





You're a commercially minded finance professional who combines strong technical capability with the ability to communicate insights effectively. You're comfortable working with large datasets, building financial models and challenging the numbers to understand what is really driving business performance.

You'll ideally bring:

- Previous experience in an FP&A; Analyst or similar commercial finance role, ideally within a multinational, listed or PE-backed organisation.
- Proven experience supporting or leading budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, including experience developing business cases and scenario models.
- Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of key financial and operational drivers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex information simply and confidently.
- The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across different functions and levels of an organisation.
- Experience working with ERP systems; Power Query, Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience will be highly regarded.
- Strong capability in scenario modelling and advanced analytics, with the ability to use data to drive better business decisions.
- A finance or accounting qualification such as CA, CPA or equivalent .
- A robust commitment to financial controls, governance, policies and accuracy.
