In this role

- Lead Council’s outdoor operations, including roads, plant, parks, open spaces and facilities maintenance.
- Deliver efficient, cost-effective services aligned with Council plans, policies and legislative requirements.
- Manage contracts, budgets, service standards and reporting to support continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, agencies, service providers and community stakeholders.
- Lead, support and develop the outdoor crew to foster a safe, high-performing team culture.

What we’re looking for

- A confident leader who builds inclusive, high-performing teams.
- Experienced in delivering efficient, cost-effective outdoor operations and services.
- Skilled in managing roads, parks, open spaces, plant and multisite operations.
- Strong in project, financial, risk and safety management.
