At PROJOIN, projects move fast, systems evolve constantly, and leadership is earned in motion. We build complex commercial joinery across design, manufacture, and installation, and we expect our Project Managers to think, adapt, and make judgement calls without waiting for permission.

The Role

You will take ownership of joinery projects from early coordination through installation and close-out. That ownership is real. There is no hand-holding, no step-by-step manual, and no safety net of endless approvals.

You will be expected to:

- Interpret incomplete information and move projects forward anyway
- Make commercial and technical decisions in real time
- Navigate shifting priorities, evolving scopes, and changing site conditions
- Coordinate across drafting, production, procurement, and installation without relying on rigid workflows
- Communicate directly and transparently with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Accept that systems, tools, and processes are continually being refined and challenged

How We Actually Work

- Processes exist, but they are living systems, not rulebooks




- Authority is decentralised and situational
- Decisions are made quickly and reviewed later
- Problems are solved before they are escalated
- Documentation supports delivery, not the other way around

You will be uncomfortable here if you need:

- Clear-cut job boundaries
- Strict adherence to established procedures
- Centralised control or formal approval chains

What We’re Looking For

- Strong joinery or construction project exposure
- High tolerance for ambiguity and change
- Sound commercial instincts and practical judgement
- Ability to self-direct, self-correct, and self-prioritise
- Confidence operating without constant validation

Experience with Jobman or similar systems is useful, but mindset matters more than software.
