We are expanding and looking for a Commercial lawyer with a minimum of 3-years post-admission experience to join our busy practice.
We are looking for candidates who are invested in their career progression and continued learning.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, motivated solicitor looking to work on a diverse range of commercial matters within a supportive, flexible, and client-focused environment.
About the Role
You will work across a broad range of commercial and dispute resolution matters, including:
- Purchase and sale of businesses from small to mid-market transactions;
- Commercial contract drafting and reviews;
- Commercial and retail leasing matters;
- Commercial disputes and litigation;
- General commercial advisory and regulatory work.
You will have carriage of matters, direct client contact, and the opportunity to work closely with business owners, investors, and commercial clients across various industries.
About You
- A current practicing certificate;
- Proven ability to deliver outcomes;
- High level of integrity;
- The ability to work proactively as part of a team and individually;
- The ability to think critically and work methodically;
- High attention to detail;
- An open and positive mindset;
- The ability to communicate and present in a confident and assertive manner;
- Minimum of 3 or more years post-admission experience in commercial law;
- Strong technical skills in commercial law and litigation, including managing commercial transactions and disputes from commencement to resolution;
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills; and
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment.
