An established automotive services organisation is seeking an experienced ADAS Technician to join its specialist automotive calibration operations in Melbourne or Sydney.

This position would suit an automotive professional with practical experience in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) who understands the importance of accurate calibration, OEM procedures, vehicle safety and detailed technical documentation.

The Role

The ADAS Technician will be responsible for completing high-quality vehicle calibrations following repair, windscreen replacement and other work that affects vehicle safety and driver-assistance systems.

- Performing ADAS calibrations accurately and efficiently
- Conducting calibration work in accordance with established processes and OEM requirements
- Taking ownership of calibration jobs through to completion
- Researching OEM repair and calibration procedures
- Maintaining accurate calibration reports and technical documentation
- Identifying and reporting calibration or equipment issues
- Maintaining and protecting specialist ADAS equipment
- Liaising professionally with customers, repairers and internal teams
- Providing technical assistance and sharing knowledge with colleagues
- Maintaining current knowledge of emerging ADAS technology
- Supporting relationships with collision repairers and automotive trade customers




- Working to productivity expectations while maintaining uncompromising standards of vehicle safety and calibration accuracy

The Successful Candidate

The organisation is particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated hands-on ADAS calibration experience.

Candidates may come from an ADAS, automotive glazing, automotive electrical, mechanical or dealership technician background, provided they can demonstrate appropriate calibration knowledge and experience.

- Practical experience calibrating ADAS systems
- Relevant ADAS training or certification
- Understanding of static and/or dynamic calibration procedures
- Ability to interpret OEM calibration and repair information
- Robust automotive diagnostic and technical ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good computer skills
- Strong time-management and organisational capability
- Professional customer communication skills
- Current driver's licence
- A commitment to ongoing technical training and development

Experience with OEM information systems, technical service bulletins and Australian OEM data access through AASRA would be highly regarded. The position operates to defined calibration processes and strong productivity expectations while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Salary ranges

90K to 100K + super + vehicle
