Bayside European is looking for an energetic and driven Assistant Sales Manager to join our team across CUPRA Brighton and INEOS Grenadier Brighton.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automotive salesperson, 2IC or Assistant Sales Manager who is ready to take on more responsibility and progress their career.

Working closely with the Sales Manager and General Manager, you'll help drive the performance of both brands while remaining hands-on with customers, sales and the day-to-day running of the department. You'll also gain exposure across new, used, demonstrator and factory used vehicle sales.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting and coaching the sales team
- Managing showroom and internet leads
- Maintaining solid CRM, follow-up and sales processes
- Assisting with negotiations and closing deals
- Supporting finance and aftermarket opportunities
- Assisting with stock, displays and vehicle presentation




- Helping manage used and factory used vehicle opportunities
- Supporting manufacturer targets and dealership standards
- Building strong relationships with CUPRA and INEOS owners

This remains a hands-on sales role, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, selling vehicles and helping a team perform.

You'll also play an active part in strengthening our owner communities through customer events, drive days, local clubs and enthusiast groups, while identifying retention and referral opportunities.

About You

You'll have automotive sales experience, confidence dealing with customers and a strong understanding of CRM, follow-up and dealership sales processes.

Previous 2IC or management experience would be an advantage; however, we'd also love to hear from a high-performing automotive salesperson ready for their first management opportunity.
