Trainer and Assessor Diploma of Emergency Health Care

An established Registered Training Organisation is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Trainer and Assessor to support the delivery of the HLT51020 Diploma of Emergency Health Care. This casual position would suit an experienced paramedic, emergency healthcare professional or vocational educator interested in contributing to high-quality training for future emergency healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver engaging theory and practical training
- Facilitate clinical skills and simulation sessions
- Assess students against training package requirements
- Provide constructive feedback and student support
- Maintain accurate assessment and compliance records
- Contribute to assessment validation and continuous improvement




- Maintain current industry knowledge and qualified practice

About you

- HLT51020 Diploma of Emergency Health Care or a relevant higher-level qualification
- Current vocational competence in emergency or pre-hospital healthcare
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a recognised equivalent
- Relevant emergency healthcare, paramedicine or ambulance-sector experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver and assess clinical and practical skills
- Strong communication, organisational and record-keeping skills
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
