DR Dental is looking for an experienced, confident and highly organised Senior Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator to join our established South Yarra practice.

This is not a conventional front-desk receptionist position .

We are looking for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with patients, coordinating treatment, discussing fees confidently, following up treatment plans and helping patients move forward with their care.

You will play an important role in delivering the high level of service our patients expect and helping coordinate their journey from first enquiry through to treatment completion.

Your role will include

- Managing the patient journey from initial enquiry through treatment
- Building strong relationships with new and existing patients
- Discussing treatment plans, appointments and fees confidently and professionally
- Following up outstanding treatment recommendations and patient enquiries
- Coordinating complex treatment appointments
- Managing and maintaining an productive appointment book




- Providing a high level of communication between patients, clinicians and the clinical team
- Helping manage the reception area and supporting other team members
- Monitoring recalls, follow-ups and outstanding patient care
- Maintaining accurate patient records and administrative systems
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice

We would particularly like to hear from you if you have

- Previous experience in dental reception, treatment coordination, practice coordination or dental administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence discussing treatment and financial arrangements with patients
- Strong organisational and follow‑up skills
- A warm but professional approach
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy clinical environment
- Good understanding of dental terminology and treatment
- Experience using Dental4Windows (D4W) is highly regarded but not essential
- A genuine interest in providing exceptional patient care
