Build a physiotherapy role that works with your life
My Rehab Team is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Brisbane-based mobile rehabilitation team.
We believe outstanding clinicians do their best work when they feel supported, trusted and able to maintain a genuine work–life balance. This role offers a flexible schedule, a varied community caseload and the opportunity to provide meaningful, person-centred care outside a traditional clinic environment.
We welcome applications from experienced physiotherapists and new graduates. Experience in neurological rehabilitation or mobile and community practice is highly regarded but is not essential. What matters most is your clinical curiosity, reliability and commitment to helping clients achieve outcomes that are important to them.
About My Rehab Team
My Rehab Team is a growing multidisciplinary allied health organisation delivering mobile, community and clinic-based services across Brisbane.
While this position is primarily mobile and community-based, Medsana Medical Clinic, our Eight Mile Plains facility, provides a central base and opportunities to collaborate with our multidisciplinary allied health and medical team. Our team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, exercise physiologists, podiatrists, dietitians, nurses, social workers, therapy assistants and support coordinators.
Our approach is practical, collaborative and outcome-focused. We help clients improve their independence, participate in everyday life and remain safely supported in their homes and communities.
About the role
You will deliver individualised physiotherapy services primarily in clients’ homes and community settings across Brisbane. Depending on your interests and experience, your caseload may include:
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Mobility, balance and falls prevention
- Functional rehabilitation and reconditioning
- Chronic disease and pain management
- Disability-related supports
- Rehabilitation for older people
- Equipment and mobility recommendations
- Exercise prescription and home programs
- Hydrotherapy
- Collaboration with therapy assistants and other clinicians
Clients may receive services through the NDIS, Support at Home, Medicare, private funding and other funding arrangements. We will work with you to develop a manageable caseload that reflects your experience, location and clinical interests.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments
- Develop practical, individualised and goal-directed treatment plans
- Deliver physiotherapy in clients’ homes and community settings
- Support clients to improve their mobility, safety, independence and quality of life
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment programs as clients’ needs change
- Prepare accurate, timely and high-quality clinical notes and reports
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, support coordinators, referrers and other providers
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary allied health and medical teams
- Contribute to safe, evidence-based and person-centred outcomes
What we offer
- A flexible schedule designed to support work–life balance
- Employee or contractor engagement options
- Full-time and part-time opportunities
- Professional development budget and paid study days for employees
- Monthly multidisciplinary meetings and annual training days (opportunity to earn CPD points)
- Flexibility to structure your working day and availability
- A Brisbane-based mobile caseload planned with travel and sustainability in mind
- Access to our Eight Mile Plains facility as a central base
- A diverse caseload with opportunities to develop your clinical interests
- Early-career support through structured supervision,
mentoring and support for new graduates
- Ongoing clinical support for experienced physiotherapists
- A connected multidisciplinary team so you are not working in isolation
- Administrative systems and team support to help you focus on clinical care
- The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ everyday lives
About you
You will be a strong fit for our team if you are:
- A qualified Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration, or eligible to obtain registration
- A new graduate ready to develop your skills within a supportive environment, or an experienced clinician seeking greater flexibility and autonomy
- Compassionate, reliable and committed to high-quality care
- Comfortable working independently while remaining connected to a broader team
- An effective communicator with clients, families and other professionals
- Organised and committed to accurate and timely documentation
- Focused on meaningful functional outcomes and person-centred care
- Experience in neurological rehabilitation, disability, aged care, community health or mobile physiotherapy is preferred but not essential.
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Starting your career in mobile physiotherapy can be incredibly rewarding, and you will not be expected to do it alone.
New graduates will receive structured supervision, mentoring and support to develop clinical reasoning, documentation, caseload management and confidence in community practice. Your caseload will be developed with consideration of your experience and professional development needs.
This is an opportunity to join an organisation where physiotherapy is part of a genuinely connected care team. You will have the flexibility to shape a sustainable working week while supporting clients to achieve meaningful goals in the environments where they live, work and participate.
If you are looking for purposeful clinical work, a flexible schedule and a team that values commitment, compassion and clinical excellence, we would love to hear from you.
