Central Health Alliance is looking to add an additional team member to our registered nurses.

Located in Williamtown NSW, next door to Newcastle Airport, 45mins from Nelson Bay, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley and 30mins from Newcastle.

We are seeking a motivated team member with current experience/knowledge of general practice nursing and/or a minimum of 12 months of hospital setting experience. All the nurses at CHA are involved in all aspects of care for our patients, hands on clinical care nursing, active acute care assessments, daily patient procedures, patient triaging, patient consultation assessment support, patient assessments, patients care plans, patient coordination and program compliance, patient paperwork, occupational medicals and general nursing support tasks (stores, stock and sterilising). The role will be required to be versatile and training will be staged.

New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply .

The position offered will be casual approx 4 days a fortnight for the remainder of 2026, more if available.

2027 there will be a change in the offer,



increase of hours and part time available (if desirable), this will then will require one Saturday a month commitment to work. This will only be discussed at interview.

Nurse must be able to start work at 730am if rostered open, and be able to work till 630pm if needed when rostered close, ideally the practice nurses usually works till 530pm only (Monday to Friday). Saturday 730am to 2pm. No Sundays, No public holidays.

BLS/CPR is required or must be obtained within 3 months of commencement.

Triaging, holistic nursing assessment, teamwork, initiation, communication are key factors for our team. This position will be regarded highly clinically role assisting and support our doctors in there day to day management of the patient and therefore working smarter and not harder is our motto.
