Yass District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis from late September through early November 2026. This is a four-week placement offering the chance to work in a dynamic ED environment with the added benefit of onsite accommodation within walking distance of the hospital, so no vehicle is required. It's an ideal opportunity for an ED nurse looking for flexible, focused work in a regional healthcare setting.

Preferred Requirements

- Proven experience working in an Emergency Department setting




- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Demonstrated competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing
- Additional certifications such as Trauma Nursing or Emergency Care qualifications are advantageous
