About the role

We’re looking for an ICT Deployment Officer to join our ICT team and support the delivery of reliable, secure and effective technology services across the St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria.

Working closely with the ICT Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in the deployment and lifecycle management of ICT equipment across the organisation. A key focus of the role will be coordinating the rollout and replacement of devices, including laptops, All-in-One PCs and other ICT hardware, while ensuring equipment is configured in line with our Standard Operating Environment (SOE).

You’ll also support ICT procurement, asset management, documentation and day-to-day service delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and service providers.

you’ll be a hands-on and organised ICT professional who enjoys working with technology, solving problems and supporting stakeholders.

You’ll bring:

- Experience in an ICT environment, ideally in a deployment or support role.
- Experience with ICT equipment rollouts and Windows-based devices.
- Experience with ICT procurement, asset management and documentation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and current technology.
- Level 1 or Level 2 IT support experience.
- Robust organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- A current driver's licence.

Experience within the not-for-profit sector, retail technology or telecommunications will be highly regarded.

Your Responsibilities

- Coordinating the rollout and replacement of ICT equipment.




- Building and configuring laptops, PCs and other devices in line with the existing SOE.
- Managing ICT asset tagging, tracking and lifecycle records.
- Supporting ICT procurement and coordinating with vendors and suppliers.
- Maintaining ICT documentation, procedures and how-to guides.
- Providing Level 1/2 support and managing tasks through the ICT Help Desk.
- Supporting ICT projects, system implementations and process improvements.
