Roadworthiness Technician / Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT)

Valley Motor Group is seeking an experienced Roadworthiness Technician / Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT) to join our team.

This role will primarily focus on Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) inspections and used vehicle reconditioning , ensuring vehicles meet Victorian roadworthiness requirements and our dealership standards.

The Role

- Conduct Victorian Roadworthy Certificate inspections
- Complete all required LVT documentation accurately and compliantly
- Inspect, diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Identify and rectify items required to achieve roadworthy standards
- Assist with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
- Conduct road tests and confirm repair quality
- Work with our workshop and sales teams to achieve productive vehicle turnaround

About You





- Current Victorian Licensed Vehicle Tester (LVT) accreditation – essential
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Experience conducting Roadworthy Certificate inspections
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
