The RoleAn prospect has become available for a Psychologist/Social Worker - Senior (Bereavement) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willConduct high quality person-centred comprehensive assessment and intervention.Participate in quality improvement activities and apply clinical evidence.Provide high level clinical skills and consultancy that will support and strengthen grief, loss, and bereavement responses.Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and skills in grief, loss, and bereavement care.Demonstrate high level communication skills.About youTo be successful in this position you will require:A tertiary degree in Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent.Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or associated boards.Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDriver LicenceDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)BenefitsFlexible work optionsCareer DevelopmentSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work CultureResearch Opportunities12.75% super17.5% leave loadingSalaryPermanent part time (38 hours per fortnight), temporary part time (up to six months with the possibility of extension,
