Restaurant Manager – Cathedral Lodge & Golf Club Full-Time | $85,000 - $90, 000 + Super | Thornton, VIC Cathedral Lodge & Golf Club is seeking an experienced and polished Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house restaurant operations at one of Australia’s most exclusive private golf destinations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader who is passionate about exceptional service, strong team culture and creating memorable experiences for members and guests. About the Role As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our restaurant and dining service, leading the front-of-house team and ensuring Cathedral's service standards are consistently delivered.

Working closely with our Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams, you will create a skilled, welcoming and highly personalised dining experience for our members and guests. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the day-to-day restaurant and front-of-house operations

Leading, supervising and supporting the restaurant service team Coordinating restaurant service to ensure a seamless member and guest experience Managing daily floor plans, sections,



bookings and service requirements

Conducting pre-service briefings and allocating team responsibilities Maintaining exceptional food, wine and beverage service standards Developing strong knowledge of menus, wines and beverage offerings

Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication throughout service Anticipating member and guest needs and resolving service issues professionally Training and developing front-of-house employees

Supporting onboarding and ongoing service training Ensuring presentation, grooming and uniform standards are maintained Assisting with functions, events and special dining experiences

Ensuring RSA, food safety and relevant workplace procedures are followed Maintaining restaurant presentation and readiness to an exceptional standard Supporting stock control, ordering and beverage management where required

Building a positive, professional and high-performing team culture Previous Experience To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Minimum 3–5 years' experience within restaurant or food and beverage operations and/ or a Diploma level hospitality qualification
