Key responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day sales & operations of the trade department

Support trade sales performance while delivering exceptional customer service

Prepare team rosters and oversee workforce planning

Coach and develop team members to build capability and performance

Oversee inventory management, stock accuracy and stock flow processes

Promote protected work practices and contribute to a positive safety culture

Support recruitment, on boarding and training of new team members

About you

Previous supervisory, department management or store management experience within retail, trade, hardware, building supplies or a related industry

A hands-on leadership style and the ability to support and develop team members

Experience managing rosters, operational processes and inventory

Ability to balance customer service,



operational priorities and commercial outcomes

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Trade sales, hardware or building supplies experience is desirable

Experience in transport or logistics and a forklift license will be highly regarded
