As our HR Officer, you'll work closely with employees, leaders and management to support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and HR administration. About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Officer to support the delivery of high quality human resources services across our business. Based in Heatherbrae or Mt Thorley, you will work closely with leaders and employees to ensure HR processes are delivered consistently,



professionally and in line with legislative requirements and company policies.

This role offers a diverse mix of responsibilities across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR administration and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate HR records, supporting managers with employee matters and contributing to the development of a positive and engaged workplace culture.

What will you do?

- Manage end to end recruitment activities including advertising, screening, interviews and reference checks.
- Prepare onboarding documentation for new employees.
- Coordinate and deliver onboarding programs and employee induction activities.
- Develop and monitor training plans for new employees and apprentices.
- Conduct routine check ins for current employees to support successful integration into the business.
- Manage offboarding processes including documentation, system updates and exit interviews.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, position descriptions and organisation charts.

What skills and experience do you need?

- Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Administrator or similar human resources role.
- Sound understanding of employment legislation, HR principles, policies and best practice.
- Experience managing recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Well developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive approach with a strong focus on service delivery and continuous improvement.
