Job Description
Placed.au is looking for a full-time Contract Administrator for our client in Ivanhoe East, Victoria. The role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance, mitigating contractual risks, and supporting the operational objectives of the business. -Draft, review, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. -Negotiate contract terms and conditions to align with company objectives and comply with Australian laws and regulations. -Monitor and maintain contract compliance, ensuring key deliverables are met by all parties.
-Handle contract variations, extensions, and renewals, ensuring accurate documentation and approvals. -Assist with tender processes, including document preparation and evaluation. -Maintain a contract management system for tracking deadlines, obligations, and documentation.
-Collaborate with operational and administration teams to ensure accurate billing and invoicing based on contractual terms. -Conduct risk assessments on contracts and recommend mitigation strategies relating to service delivery, payment, or other contractual issues. -Provide regular reporting on contract performance, obligations, and compliance issues to senior management.
-Manage service agreements with corporate clients, ensuring contractual obligations align with service delivery schedules. -Ensure adherence to industry-specific safety and compliance regulations within all contract terms.
Qualifications / Attributes
-Must hold a Relevant Diploma qualification or higher in a related field, or have at least 3 years of relevant full-time work experience in lieu of the formal qualification. -Solid understanding of Australian contract law and contract management processes. -Proven negotiation, contract drafting, review, and analysis skills.
-Ability to identify and assess contractual risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines.
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail. -Strong problem-solving and dispute-resolution skills. -Ability to work effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.
-Experience using contract management software and other relevant systems. -Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Salary Range:
$75,000 – $95,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
