Our client, one of the largest hotel groups in Victoria is looking for qualified and experienced cooks/chefs to work in their large hotel situated in regional Victoria at Milawa. The company sets creative menus bringing out the best of the local produce with their in-house dining room.

Job duties:

- Preparation, creation, decoration of food items
- Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
- Plan, develop and estimate food costs when ordering food supplies
- Monitor quality of dishes
- Prepare and cook food demonstrating a variety of cooking techniques
- Season food during cooking
- Portion food
- Keep kitchen and enforce hygiene regulations
- Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine




- Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP
- Monitor and produce quality dishes in all stages of preparation and organisation

Skills required

- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV
- or equivalent qualification
- Relevant experience in similar capacity

Salary Range $79,000-$85,000 + super, dependent on experience.
