Finance Services Officer provides administrative, transactional, reconciliation, and financial processing support, including bank account administration, corporate card management, debt recovery, and staff travel and allowance claims.

The role

Finance Services Officer undertakes administrative, transactional and reconciliation processes for the DoH in accordance with relevant service standards, legislation and Agency policies and procedures.

The occupants within these positions may be expected to have primary responsibility for the administration, reconciliation, and processing transactions for:

- The DoH’s centralised Bank Accounts
- Debt recovery to assist the DoH with reducing outstanding debt
- Staff travel and other allowance claim

You will need:

- An operational knowledge, or ability to acquire knowledge, of financial instructions, legislation and accounting procedures and policies for receiving, processing and recording financial system payments and adjustments.
- Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks with a high degree of efficiency, accuracy and within set deadlines, and to deliver with a stakeholder focus. An understanding of continuous quality improvement and its practical application in the work environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients,



staff and business organisations.

Details of Appointment

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

$76,849 to $82,996 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.
