Clinical Nurse - School Based Youth Health Nurse

As a Clinical Nurse - School Based Youth Health Nurse, you'll support the health and wellbeing of young people across the school community. Working with students, families, educators and health professionals, you'll help create positive outcomes that extend beyond the classroom.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Providing health assessment, advice and support that empowers young people to make informed wellbeing decisions.
- Delivering health promotion and education initiatives that build health literacy and positive habits.
- Building partnerships with schools, families and community services to coordinate support for students.
- Using clinical insight to identify needs, improve services and strengthen youth health outcomes.

You're a compassionate and confident nurse who enjoys supporting young people through challenges that can shape their future. You combine clinical expertise with empathy, communicate with integrity and build trusted relationships that encourage positive change. You're motivated by making a genuine difference and helping young people achieve their best health and wellbeing outcomes.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Strong clinical assessment, care planning and health promotion skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with students, families and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
You'll stand out if you have postgraduate study relevant to nursing, youth health or primary healthcare and/or experience in education, community or regional settings.
