HAPPY FOUR PTY LTD Job Advertisement: Chef/Cook Hospitality & Tourism Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + superannuation Happy Four Pty Ltd , a vibrant and welcoming restaurant located in the heart of Bright, Victoria, is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy, team-driven environment that prides itself on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, high-quality food, and outstanding customer service in one of Victoria's most picturesque alpine regions.

Responsibilities

- CHEFS: Lead and manage kitchen operations, contribute to menu creation, prepare, and present dishes to a high standard, oversee stock control, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.
- COOKS: Food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Assist with stock rotation, cleaning schedules,



and supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements

- Minimum of 1 year of experience (2 years preferred) as a Chef/Cook in a busy hotel, restaurant, cafe, or hospitality workplace.
- Highly developed culinary skills and a genuine passion for food and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to handle pressure in a professional and calm manner during peak service times.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Hold relevant qualifications (Diploma or equivalent for Chefs and Certificate IV or equivalent for Cooks).
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices (HACCP desirable).
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and peak seasonal periods as required.
