Cardijn College is seeking a passionate, contemporary and committed educator to join our teaching team as a Permanent Full-Time Upper Primary Teacher at Cardijn College Galilee , commencing January 2027.

Cardijn Context

Cardijn College is an R-12 co-educational Catholic school in the Marist tradition, deeply inspired by the dual charisms of College patrons Cardinal Joseph Cardijn and St Marcellin Champagnat.

Educating and inspiring students in Adelaide's Southern Vales region since 1984, Cardijn has grown into a College across three sites, each with distinct offerings. Located at Noarlunga Downs, Marian Campus caters for students in Years 7-12 and is renowned for its extensive curriculum and vibrant co-curricular program, providing diverse learning pathways for all students.

Cardijn College Marcellin

Located at Christie Downs, Marcellin Campus provides a wide variety of vocational education and training opportunities for students in Years 10-12 and beyond, with industry partnerships that support successful career pathways.

Cardijn College Galilee

Located at Aldinga, Galilee Campus educates students from Reception to Year 9 expanding to Year 12 by 2030 in a learning environment where every student experiences a strong sense of belonging within a caring, inclusive and ecologically aware community.

About The Role

The Teacher - Upper Primary is responsible for delivering engaging,



high-quality learning experiences that foster student growth, wellbeing and achievement. Working collaboratively with colleagues, leaders and families, the successful applicant will create inclusive learning environments that support every student to achieve their personal best.

- Experience and passion for teaching in an upper primary setting.
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices and the Australian Curriculum.
- Strong communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to continuous qualified learning and improvement.
- The ability to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning culture.
- A genuine commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Cardijn College.

Essential Requirements

- Current South Australian Teacher Registration.
- Accreditation (or eligibility for Accreditation) in Catholic Education South Australia.
- Current Working With Children Check.
- RRHAN-EC certification and all mandatory compliance requirements.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
