We're looking for an experienced Digital Matte Painter to help on our current shows! This will be a short term contract until the end of 2026, ideally based in Brisbane or Adelaide. Remote may be considered within Australia.

Key Responsibilities

- Paint photo-real matte paintings and texture maps to brief
- Build textures that integrate into the environment pipeline
- Composite matte paintings against plate for review
- Grade and manage colour per RSP's pipeline
- Optimise paintings for file size and render performance
- Update leads on progress, blockers and risks

Skills and Experience

- Advanced Photoshop
- Working Nuke skills
- 2.5D camera projection
- End-to-end VFX pipeline knowledge, including handovers between departments
- Solid composition and attention to detail
- Cross-platform: Linux, Mac, Windows
