The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team in Kembla Grange. Reporting to the Financial Controller, with significant exposure to the CFO and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, cashflow management and providing meaningful financial insights to support the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified CPA/CA looking to broaden their experience, contribute to strategic decision-making and grow with an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage general accounting functions, including the general ledger, reconciliations and month-end/year-end close across multiple entities.
- Support statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Manage ATO and payroll-related compliance, including BAS, FBT, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and group policies.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Identify and implement process and systems improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Build strong relationships across the finance team and wider business, providing support and guidance where required.

About You:

- CPA/CA part-qualified or newly qualified, with a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and compliance.
- Experience preparing financial information across multiple entities.
- Strong Excel and financial systems capability.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently,



manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, collaborative and committed to continuous improvement.
- Experience in a private equity-backed or industrial business will be highly regarded.
