Anne E Clarke Solicitor is an established boutique law practice located in Summer Hill, specialising in property conveyancing, property transactions, leases, wills and estate planning.

We are looking for an experienced Property Conveyancer / Lawyer to join our team on a full time basis.

This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys conveyancing, takes pride in providing excellent client service, and wants to work in a qualified but friendly boutique environment.

You will work closely with our existing team and have genuine responsibility for your own matters, with the support and guidance of an experienced solicitor when required.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing residential property transactions from commencement through to settlement, including:

- Residential purchases and sales
- Contract reviews and advice
- Preparation and management of conveyancing files
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, brokers, banks and other solicitors
- Managing pre-settlement and settlement requirements
- Electronic settlements through PEXA




- Dealing with requisitions, adjustments and settlement issues
- Providing clients with clear and practical updates throughout their transaction
- General property and conveyancing matters

There may also be opportunities to become involved in more complex property matters and leasing depending on your experience and interests. From time to time, you may also be required to assist with Wills and estates matters as part of the broader practice.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has solid experience in NSW residential conveyancing
- Can manage a conveyancing file from instruction through to settlement
- Has experience with PEXA
- Has a strong understanding of NSW conveyancing practice and procedures
- Is organised, reliable and highly attentive to detail
- Communicates confidently and professionally with clients
- Is comfortable dealing directly with clients, agents and other professionals
- Can work independently while also being part of a small team
- Takes ownership of their matters and follows through on deadlines
- Has a genuine interest in property and providing quality legal service
