Mobile plant and materials processing equipment | Field and workshop work

Lincom Group supplies and supports equipment across Australia's quarrying, mining and recycling industries. We're looking for an experienced Field Service Mechanic or Diesel Fitter to join our Ballarat-based team.

You'll service customers in Ballarat and the surrounding areas, with a mix of work at customer sites and in the Ballarat workshop. It's a varied role for someone who enjoys diagnosing faults, repairing equipment and seeing a job through to completion.

What you'll do

- Service, maintain and repair mobile plant and materials processing equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Attend scheduled service work and breakdowns at customer sites
- Remove and replace major components
- Complete pre-delivery inspections, machine preparation and commissioning
- Carry out workshop repairs when required
- Complete accurate service reports and job documentation

What you'll bring

- A relevant trade qualification,



such as Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, Diesel/Plant Mechanic or equivalent
- Experience servicing and repairing heavy mobile plant or similar equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- The ability to work independently at customer sites and as part of a workshop team
- A practical approach to safety and clear communication with customers
- Experience with crushing and screening equipment will be highly regarded.
