An Intermediate Accountant role at a small accounting firm based in Parramatta, supporting small business clients to remodel and secure their financial future. This full time role is crucial to the growth of the team and business, with room to progress and upskill your own professional development.

Key responsibilities

Preparing business financial statements and company income tax returns using Xero

Preparation of quarterly business activity statements

Processing superannuation fund transactions using Class software

Individual tax returns

About you

3-5 years experience in a public accounting practice

Ideally completing CA/CPA/IPA studies (TAFE equivalent would be considered)

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Proficient with XERO accounting software

Positive, highly motivated with a friendly personality

Can do attitude,



take initiative and like to problem solve

High attention to detail and accuracy

Articulate, well-spoken with excellent written and oral communication skills

Organised with good time management and able to handle deadlines

Self-starter who likes to keep up to date with industry standards
