RATES OFFICER

Finance Department

The Rates Officer is a key member of the Finance team, assisting the Senior Rates Officer develop and maintain Council’s property database and rating operations, ensuring efficient and effective operation of the Rates section.

To be successful in the role, you will require:

Previous experience in a revenue role including in contemporary credit management processes.

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to deal with complex and difficult enquiries.

Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to meet competing deadlines.

High level of proficiency in the use of computer application software.
