Townsville Hospital and Health Service – Richmond QLD

To provide clinical expertise, support and education to nursing staff within a MPHS environment in a rural and remote location. Utilising clinical skills, knowledge and experience the position holder will deliver a high standard of evidence-based person-centred care to patients, providing support to patients, families, and other healthcare colleagues within the Richmond MPHS.

This dynamic position services a 10-bed rural facility, comprising of 4 aged care and 6 acute inpatient beds whilst providing a Hospital Based Ambulance Service (First Responder) to the town and surrounding community of Richmond.

- Permanent full-time and part-time opportunities, hours negotiable
- Salary range: $87,790 to $112,607 p.a. (NG5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Accommodation: In office single staff accommodation will be provided for the successful applicant.
- Rural and Remote Incentive Package (RANIP): Successful applicants may be eligible for RANIP.

Role Requirements:

- Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (AHPRA).
- Adult Life Support certificate: Must obtain and maintain an annual competency in Advanced Life Support as per THHSCLI Life Support Training and Assessment
- Possession of class C drivers' licence.
- On-call : Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted, including NDIS Worker Screening checks.
