About the role

This is a varied and rewarding role within a specialist vascular practice, offering exposure to a broad range of vascular ultrasound studies, from routine examinations through to more complex vascular assessments.

You will work closely with the Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon and clinical team in a collaborative environment where high-quality imaging, clinical accuracy and continuity of patient care are highly valued.

The role offers the opportunity to develop and broaden your vascular ultrasound experience while working within an established specialist practice at North Shore Private Hospital.

Key responsibilities

- Carotid and vertebral duplex





- Aorto-iliac arterial duplex

- Upper and lower limb arterial studies

- Upper and lower limb DVT studies

- Venous insufficiency studies

- Post-intervention venous and arterial surveillance

- Renal and mesenteric duplex

- Thoracic outlet studies

- Arteriovenous fistula assessment and surveillance

- Post-operative vascular ultrasound follow-up

About you

- Current Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) accreditation — essential

- Full Australian working rights — essential

- An appropriate recognised qualification in medical ultrasound

- Experience or demonstrated competency in vascular ultrasound

- Strong technical skills and attention to diagnostic detail

- Excellent communication and patient-care skills

- A professional and reliable approach

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a specialist practice
