The Role
As the Financial Accountant,
you will sit in the corporate head office and report to an energizing and talented Financial Controller who has a great track record of developing and mentoring her team. You will be trained up to take on duties that will include (not limited to):
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Supporting annual financial statements, tax returns and other compliance requirements
- Maintaining and updating financial models
- Contributing to project budgeting and forecasting
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing portfolio transactions
- Managing limited AP and AR requirements relating to your assets
- Partnering with internal stakeholders and contributing to finance projects and process improvements

Your Background
To be considered for this Financial Accountant opportunity, our client is looking for a talented individual with the following experience:
- Three or more years of accounting experience gained in commerce, audit, tax or business services
- An accounting degree with a solid academic record
- CA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or significant progress toward completion
- The technical capability and ambition to take ownership of an asset portfolio
- Permanent Australian working rights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
