Gundagai District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute care team on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an in-charge role in a regional NSW setting, offering the chance to lead a small team while delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring ED or acute care experience, with a strong background in triage and clinical leadership.

- In-charge responsibility across ED and Acute care with triage as a core function
- 12-week contract, ASAP start in Gundagai, NSW
- Chance to lead and mentor in a regional hospital setting

Preferred Requirements

- Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA




- Demonstrated experience in Emergency Department, Acute, or Aged Care nursing
- Proven in-charge or team leadership experience
- Triage competency and experience using the Australasian Triage Scale
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in high-acuity environments

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent certification
- Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
