Analyst / Senior Analyst - Project Finance

China Construction Bank is offering an exciting full time permanent role for an Analyst or Senior Analyst - Project Finance to join our well-established organisation as we continue to expand.

Job Purpose

As a member of the Project Finance Team, this role is integral to the development and management of project finance business. The role involves supporting all aspects of project finance transactions, including the origination, execution, and ongoing portfolio management of new project finance opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Conduct research and gather market information on target industries, regulatory authorities, and project finance product.
- Conduct financial and credit analysis, operate financial models.
- Support senior team members in marketing and credit submissions, including preparing pitchbook preparation, credit papers, and help manage internal processes.
- Assist the periodic reviews of transactions and monitor credit risks.
- Support on general admin work of the team as required from time to time.

Required Qualifications and Credentials

Successful candidates will likely:

- Hold a tertiary qualification in business, accounting, mathematics, or science, legal training will also be highly regarded.
- Have minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, commercial due diligence, legal, project finance, corporate or institutional lending, principal investment, ideally with a big accounting firm, commercial bank, investment fund or developer.
- Be experienced in financial modeling and high proficiency in numeracy.




- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
- Be self-driven and a fast learner, with the ability to perform under pressure and toward deadlines.
