About the role As IT Support Specialist, you'll be a key point of contact for technology issues across head office and a national network of retail partners.
You'll help keep everyday systems, software and hardware running smoothly, resolving issues directly and escalating more complex problems when needed. It's a genuinely varied role that blends helpdesk support with software deployment, network troubleshooting, hardware setup and clear documentation that helps colleagues help themselves.
Duties:
- Diagnose and resolve software,
hardware and connectivity issues for head office and retail partner employees, escalating complex cases as required.
- Plan, test and deploy software applications, updates and patches across head office and retailer environments in line with IT standards.
- Manage user accounts and system access, including provisioning, permission changes, password resets and periodic access reviews.
- Set up and maintain laptops, mobile devices and video conferencing equipment, and troubleshoot network and wireless connectivity issues.
- Create and maintain support documentation such as SOPs and knowledge base articles, and monitor support tickets to help meet service level targets.
Requirements At least a Diploma qualification in an IT related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in lieu.
At least 2 years hands-on experience. Demonstrated experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows and Apple/iOS devices, including setup, resets and app management. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including wireless connectivity and basic configuration changes.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office/365; experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow is an advantage. Strong customer service focus with clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage your own workload.
