About the Role

Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, creative and caring.

The Coordinator will support the implementation of Injury Management and Return-To-Work Policy and Procedures which promote the early and safe return to work of injured health service staff. This includes initiating, co-ordinating and monitoring the return-to-work process, providing progress reports to Managers, participating in claims management.

Ideal Candidate

- Qualified health professional or relevant work experience, and must be accredited by SIRA as a Return-to-Work Coordinator / Coordinator.
- Knowledge of NSW Workers Compensation legislation, as well as of relevant SIRA guidelines for prevention and management of workplace injuries, together with extensive experience in rehabilitation of injured workers.
- Highly developed skills in communication, negotiation, counselling, and ability to write clear and accurate reports and documentation.
- All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
