BWC is a Logan-based, family-owned business specialising in earthmoving, transport and mining services across the civil construction industry. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team in Crestmead.

Working alongside a small and supportive team, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing our fleet of more than 20 trucks and trailers, helping keep our operations running safely and efficiently.

About the Role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
n
Diagnostic fault finding and repairs
n
Breakdown repairs and troubleshooting
n
Truck and trailer maintenance
n
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
n
Supporting fleet reliability and operational performance
n
n

Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or similar
n
Minimum 2 years' experience working on heavy vehicles

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Experience servicing and repairing trucks and trailers
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
n

Desirable Qualifications and Experience
n
The following are advantageous but not essential:

HR Truck Licence
n
Air-conditioning experience
n
Welding and fabrication experience
n
