Happy Feet Podiatry is seeking a Locum Podiatrist to join our team on a fulltime basis for a 6 week block at our clinic located in The Junction, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for a podiatrist looking for flexible, rewarding work in a supportive clinical environment. As a Locum Podiatrist, you will provide high-quality podiatric care to our diverse patient base, contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes and supporting the continuity of care at our practice. This role offers the flexibility of locum work whilst being part of an established, well-regarded podiatry clinic.

What you'll be doing

- Providing comprehensive podiatric assessments and treatment to patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions, including biomechanical issues, nail pathology, and dermatological problems
- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
- Performing routine foot care procedures and preventative treatments
- Prescribing and fitting orthotics and other appropriate therapeutic devices
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with professional standards and clinic protocols
- Communicating effectively with patients to ensure they understand their condition and treatment options
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals when appropriate to support coordinated patient care
- Adhering to all clinic policies, health and safety regulations, and professional codes of conduct
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

- Current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia (or eligibility to apply for registration)
- Valid Australian podiatry qualifications or recognised international qualifications with appropriate credentials assessment




- Proven experience working as a podiatrist in a clinical setting MSK focused
- Solid clinical knowledge and competence in the assessment and management of common podiatric conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations
- Professional approach to patient care with a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Ability to work independently whilst being collaborative within a team environment
- Organisational skills and attention to detail in clinical record-keeping
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Professional indemnity insurance (preferred)
