What we are looking for :

As a fundamental position within our business, we are seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician to join us on a full time basis. This role will deliver commercial and residential construction projects across Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson looking for long-term career growth with the ability to bring in new opportunities. This role comes with a fully maintained company vehicle as well as above award rates of pay.

We would also welcome a conversation with candidates looking to take on a supervisory role and manage one other A Grade Electrician (Electrical Licence required)

The primary responsibilities of the role are to :

- Complete day-to-day operations in the Electrical Team in consultation with the Trade Manager and Project Coordinators
- Oversee job operations, monitor progress of projects and electrical work
- Conduct commercial and residential service works,



repairs and electrical installations
- Liaise and coordinate with internal trades, subcontractors and Project Managers to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule and to a high standard
- Ensuring all work complies with AS/NZS 3000 and Victorian Electrical Regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and propose effective solutions
- Conduct site visits
- Follow company guidelines and industry standards for quality and efficiency
- Write completion reports
- Assist with providing quotes for minor works
- Assist with completing certificates of electrical safety (prescribed and non-prescribed)
- Ensuring all LEWs are kept up to date and compliant with new and existing regulations
- Attend toolbox talks and technical and safety meetings with LEWs and maintain a strong safety culture
- Manage QA documentation, site reporting and inspections
- Order materials and coordinate deliveries

What you will bring :

- A trade qualification as an Electrician (A Grade Electrical Licence required)
- A current driver's licence
- White card and Working at Heights licence
- Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- The ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate competing work demands
