Are you an experienced HVAC professional ready to step into a leadership role with a reputable and growing commercial HVAC/R company?

Our client is a well-established commercial HVAC/R service provider delivering high-quality solutions across South East Queensland. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated HVAC Team Leader to lead a skilled team while remaining hands-on with service, maintenance, fault finding and project works.

This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys leading people, solving complex HVAC problems, maintaining strong customer relationships, and taking ownership of day-to-day operations.

About the Role

As an HVAC Team Leader , you will oversee a team of technicians while supporting the delivery of high-quality commercial HVAC/R service and maintenance across South East Queensland. Brisbane based.

You will work across a range of commercial air conditioning systems, including:

- Chillers
- Package units
- CRAC units
- AHUs & FCUs
- Split ducted systems
- Split systems

Key duties include:

- Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of HVAC technicians
- Coordinating daily service, maintenance and breakdown activities
- Fault finding, diagnostics and complex breakdown response
- Preventative maintenance and servicing
- Installation, upgrade and project works
- Supporting technicians with technical advice and troubleshooting
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Managing customer relationships and providing professional service on site
- Reviewing job reports,



documentation and service requirements
- Assisting with scheduling, job allocation and workflow management
- Monitoring quality, productivity and compliance

Skills & Experience Required

- Proven experience in commercial HVAC service and maintenance
- Previous experience leading or supervising HVAC technicians
- Relevant trade qualification in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- QLD Restricted Electrical Licence
- QBCC Mechanical Licence
- White Card
- Current manual driver's licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team
- Ability to pass a National Police Check
- Australian working rights (sorry, no sponsorship offered)
