Scotts Group, Artarmon NSW is seeking an experienced Dealership Financial Accountant to join the team. This role involves managing month-end reporting, ensuring tax reporting and payment obligations are met, and overseeing daily accounting operations including invoicing, cash management, and internal financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

- Month end reporting
- Ensure tax reporting and payment obligations are met
- Manage daily operations including accounting, invoicing, cash management and internal financial reporting
- Analyse departmental results to provide feedback into business performance improvement
- Liaise with auditors and other regulatory bodies to ensure statutory compliance
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Vehicle sales processing and reporting, wholesale and retail
- Daily bank reconciliations and customer refunds/payouts
- Fixed asset register maintenance

About you





- Previous Motor Dealer experience is highly regarded
- Ability to work on Pentana ERA-DMS
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills with MS Excel, Office, accounting software and databases
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and multi-task
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Well-versed in accounts/tax compliance, auditing procedure, finance system regulations in Australia
- Solid analytical, business mindset and problem solving skills
- Extensive knowledge of financial reporting requirements and experience in preparing financial statements.

This role is available for an immediate start.The role is dealership-based and is fully onsite, with no work-from-home arrangement.
