Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join our client's team in Paraburdoo, WA on a 2:1 roster.

WELDER | PARABURDOO, WA | 2:1 ROSTER | ~$80/HR

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for carrying out welding, fabrication and repair work across site, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform welding and fabrication works across site
- Complete repairs, maintenance and structural fabrication as required
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Carry out MIG, TIG and/or ARC welding as required
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance
- Identify and report any defects or issues
- Maintain welding equipment, tools and work areas
- Work closely with Boilermakers, Fitters and other trades
- Follow all site safety procedures and requirements

ABOUT YOU





- Relevant Australian welding/boilermaking trade qualification
- Demonstrated welding experience, preferably within mining or heavy industry
- Robust fabrication and welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High level of attention to detail and workmanship
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Relevant mining tickets and site experience will be highly regarded
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
