Working as part of our friendly team at Pryde Meats Narellan, a busy retail butcher shop, you will prepare and cook quality ready-made meals, takeaway food and fresh products. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in preparing quality food, enjoys working with customers and thrives in a busy retail environment.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and cooking ready-made meals such as pies and lasagnas
n
Preparing cooked food for takeaway
n
Ensuring all food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard
n
Serving customers and processing customer transactions
n
Providing friendly and professional customer service
n
Following food safety and hygiene requirements
n
Maintaining clean, organised and safe work areas
n
Assisting with general duties within the butcher shop as required
n
Working efficiently in a busy retail environment

About you

Previous experience cooking rapid food,



takeaway food or ready-made meals
n
Hold a Commercial Cookery Certificate
n
Robust attention to detail and a commitment to quality
n
Good communication and customer service skills
