As a Site Inspector, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of Council contractors and service providers, ensuring all work is delivered in line with contract specifications and WH&S; obligations.

Key responsibilities

- Monitor construction activities in office, maintaining accurate records, photographic documentation and daily progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with contract specifications and the NSW WHS Act and Regulation, with authority to stop non-compliant works.
- Investigate customer requests and provide technical advice on capital or rehabilitation projects, particularly roads and drainage.

What you need

- You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and wider Streetscape team, with direct lines into Infrastructure Planning when bigger issues need escalating.
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction, or relevant qualifications.
- Extensive hands-on experience in civil construction, including roads and drainage systems.
