Accountant/Senior Accountant (Business Services)

ASM Partners Pty Ltd' is seeking an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Business Services team based in the Melbourne CBD. This full-time role will see you providing high-quality accounting and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries.

Candidates must be Australian citizens or permanent residents with full work authorisation.

What you'll be doing
n
Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, BAS and other tax reporting for clients
n
Providing strategic business services including budgeting, forecasting and identifying prospects for growth
n
Ensuring clients maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
n
Building strong relationships with clients and proactively identifying ways to add value
n
Supervising and mentoring junior team members
n
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our service delivery and internal processes
n
What we're looking for
n
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
n
CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)
n




Minimum 3 years' experience in public practice is essential for this position
n
Excellent technical accounting and tax knowledge, with a commercial mindset
n
Robust communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted advisor relationships
n
Demonstrable experience in managing a portfolio of clients and leading a team
n
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative team culture
