The Role

We are seeking a Full-Time Practice Manager to lead our established medical centre in Pakenham. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven healthcare leader to oversee daily operations, support a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the ongoing success of the centre.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving team performance, maintaining compliance standards, and delivering outstanding patient experiences. Your Responsibilities

Role

As the Practice Manager,



you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of the medical centre by:

- Leading and supporting administrative and clinical support teams
- Managing staffing, recruitment, onboarding and performance development
- Driving operational excellence through process improvement initiatives
- Overseeing budgets, rosters, inventory and centre resources
- Ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, policies and procedures
- Promoting a patient-first culture focused on exceptional customer service
- Building strong relationships with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and key stakeholders
- Monitoring centre performance and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives
- Collaborating with Regional and National Leaders on key projects and initiatives

About You

- Previous leadership or management experience, ideally within a healthcare setting
- Solid people leadership and team development skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management systems
- Knowledge of Medicare billing and healthcare compliance requirements (desirable)
- Qualification in Business Administration or Diploma of Practice Management (preferred)
