Zinlow Group is a Melbourne-based commercial and industrial fencing contractor delivering specialist fencing, gates, hoarding and infrastructure solutions across Victoria. With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, we're looking for two Site Engineers to join our project delivery team.

About the role

This is a diverse office and site-based role offering the opportunity to take ownership of allocated projects and gain broad exposure across the full project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through to site delivery, commercial management and completion. You'll work across Government, rail, infrastructure and commercial construction projects, with direct access to an experienced management team and genuine opportunities to develop your career as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

Take ownership of the day-to-day coordination and delivery of allocated projects

Coordinate labour, materials, procurement, deliveries and site requirements

Plan project activities, sequencing and short-term programs

Liaise directly with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams

Monitor project budgets, costs and performance

Prepare progress claims and assist with variations and RFIs

Coordinate drawings, technical documentation and project requirements

Maintain project records, registers and reporting

Attend project sites and coordinate safety, quality and compliance requirements

Identify project risks, constraints and delivery issues and escal





About you

Must have experience within construction, civil infrastructure, rail or a related environment in a site engineer role

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work

An understanding of project costs, progress claims and variations

Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills

Confidence communicating with clients, subcontractors and suppliers

Strong attention to detail and project documentation skills

A relevant Engineering, Construction Management or similar qualification is desirable

Current Victorian Driver Licence and White Card

Unrestricted Australian working rights and located in Victoria

Company vehicle provided

Exposure to Government, rail and infrastructure projects
