About The Opportunity

As an Occupational Therapist, you will plan, coordinate and deliver high quality clinical Occupational Therapy (OT) care to inpatients and outpatients

The Level 3 OT clinically supervises Level 1/2 OTs and facilitates the enhancement of the service through leading quality improvement and research activities.

In This Role You Will

- Provide high-level, evidence-informed clinical service to clients/patients, their families/carers and other health professionals for complex cases requiring advanced practice skills, independent operation and minimal direct supervision.
- Exercise independent professional judgement in solving problems and managing cases where principles, procedures, techniques and methods require expansion, adaptation or modification.
- Determine and recommend appropriate courses of action and interventions in collaboration with clients with acute and chronic health conditions.
- Maintain a high intensity, varied clinical workload whilst maintaining clinical expertise.

About You

- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy and registration as an OT with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency.
- Well-developed written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills,



with the ability to work independently with minimal direct clinical supervision, but also effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to innovatively lead team tasks, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, professional development and research.
- Demonstrated advanced reasoning skills, independent professional judgement, effective time management and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to provide in-depth advice and education to enhance service delivery and guide and support others in service excellence.
