Digital Innovation provides a unified digital and ICT capability across the Parkville health-service workplace, delivering shared infrastructure, systems and innovation services that support safe, reliable and connected care. The Project Delivery and Transformation team leads complex digital initiatives and works closely with health-service leaders, operational teams, vendors and specialist partners to deliver sustainable technology-enabled change.

About the Rostering Project

The Rostering Project is a major workforce transformation initiative modernising rostering, scheduling, leave management, temporary staffing and agency workforce management. The project is implementing the RLDatix rostering platform, including Optima, Loop and BankStaff, and spans business process change, technology and integration, system configuration, payroll assurance, testing, training, staged deployment, hypercare and transition to business-as-usual.

About the role

As an System Lead you will lead the System Stream and is accountable for the functional integrity, configuration, implementation, validation and readiness of the RLDatix rostering solution. Providing end-to-end functional leadership across Optima,



Loop and BankStaff, the role coordinates configuration decisions, vendor delivery, system validation, defect resolution, application cutover, stabilisation and transition to sustainable ownership.

A regular day will see you:

- Lead the functional solution and configuration approach across Optima, Loop and BankStaff, ensuring decisions remain coherent, controlled and traceable.
- Direct vendor functional delivery, configuration reviews, system validation, defect resolution and application release readiness.
- Coordinate the Rostering, Payroll, Industrial Relations and Implementation roles to deliver a practical, compliant and supportable system outcome.
- Lead system readiness, application cutover, stabilisation and knowledge transfer while working closely with project, technical, testing and adoption leads.

About you

You are an experienced enterprise-system implementation leader with deep functional judgement and the ability to connect workforce requirements, system configuration and operational delivery. You are decisive, collaborative and comfortable leading vendors and specialist teams through complex implementation and readiness decisions.

- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise rostering, workforce management, payroll-adjacent, HRIS, ERP or comparable system implementation and functional configuration.
- Strong experience in functional solution design, configuration governance, vendor delivery, system validation, defect resolution, cutover and stabilisation.
- Strong understanding of rostering or workforce-scheduling concepts, roster structures, leave, vacancy management, user roles, payroll impacts and operational workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary delivery across rostering, payroll, industrial relations, integration, data,



reporting, testing, change and training.
- Strong vendor-management, facilitation, negotiation, documentation, analytical and problem-solving capability in complex implementation environments.
- Experience with RLDatix Optima, Loop, BankStaff or comparable enterprise rostering/workforce platforms will be highly regarded.
